Caleb's first tour of Tobago

Image
THTI organized this excursion as a field trip for students. We prepared food and beverages for the journey, loaded them onto the bus, and set off for our first location.   Our first distination was Fort gamby  Granby was hot when we arrived, but the view was lovely nonetheless. We enjoyed ourselves greatly and took pictures. I had a wonderful time and would go back.  Breif history :- The British constructed Fort Granby in the 1760s to safeguard George Town, the initial capital of Tobago, but it was abandoned in the 1790s. Before Fort King George was built, it served as the main British fort in Tobago. With a horseshoe-shaped earthen wall and the ruins of rectangular structures, the fort has been beautifully maintained. Three structures and three canons that were relocated are noted on a French map from 1784. A gravestone honors James Clark, who passed away in 1772. Fort granby
